Tech Axom
The ISTE AEC student chapter hosts its annual flagship event, TechAxom, a two-day extravaganza that brings together students from premier institutions across the North East region. The event aims to foster a technical mindset among students and promote awareness about the latest advancements in the field. The event features a pool of technical events designed to challenge and engage participants. These includes:
- Robo Soccer: A thrilling competition that showcases innovative robotic creations designed and built by participating teams.
- Hackathon: A software hackathon that challenges students to solve real-world problems within a set time limit.
- Seismic Tower: A unique competition that tests the seismic resistance of structures designed and built by participants.
- Model United Nations: A simulation of the United Nations that aims to inculcate leadership and rational thinking skills among students.
- Tech Quiz: A battle of wits that tests students' knowledge of emerging technologies, historical tech milestones, and renowned figures in the tech industry.
- Line Following Robot: A competition that challenges participants to design autonomous robots that could follow predefined tracks.
TechAxom witnesses enthusiastic participation from students of various institutions, including school students. The event has always been a resounding success, with participants showcasing their technical skills, innovative thinking, and teamwork.
